Atlantic Forest Collection

Nine species from the largest surviving stretch of Atlantic Forest on earth — modeled one by one.

Pieces of 5 to 7 cm, 10 to 20 g, in cold porcelain with water-based paint. These are not industrial replicas: no mold is ever used, so every piece comes out different from the last.

All nine species in the collection, on full display. The open catalog carries the complete card for each one — taxonomy, habits, range and conservation status. No sign-up required.

What comes inside the box

Anonymous craft is a commodity. Ours arrives with documented provenance.

What separates a trinket from an object someone keeps is knowing where it came from. That is why every piece ships with three documents — and none of them is decorative.

  • 01 The piece

Modeled and painted by hand, without a mold. Reusable packaging, biodegradable starch-based material.

  • 02 The species card

Full taxonomy, habits, range and conservation status. The customer learns something they didn't know.

  • 03 The Certificate of Origin

The name, photo and story of the woman who modeled that particular piece, with her signature.

Women of the production network gathered around a worktable, modeling cold porcelain pieces during a training session in Antonina.

The women who make it

This isn't charity. It's authorship.

Maristela, Marcia, Bete and Aline live in rural Antonina and trained in cold porcelain modeling. They are not the beneficiaries of a project: they are the authors of the pieces, which is why each one carries a signature. With every order placed, ManuPekena also guarantees food staples for the families in the network.

The training includes environmental education about the biome itself — in a region where activities that put pressure on the forest are still a common source of income.

"Cold porcelain arrived exactly when I needed it most, financially and emotionally. It is a kind of therapy, and it gave me my joy back."
Maristela — Limoeiro, Antonina/PR
"This work changed my life, because I can keep working from home while I look after my daughter."
Aline — Itapemã de Baixo, Antonina/PR

The founder

Emanuele Nascimento modeled the first piece — then she modeled the network.

An artisan for 24 years. She learned the craft selling to shops, wholesalers, fairs and markets, and at some point did the math that changed the business: the same technique that supported her household could support other women's households too. She designed the training, chose the species in the collection, and decided that every piece would leave signed.

Today she represents the craft of coastal Paraná in export, ESG and sustainable tourism programs — and she is the one who answers when you write to ManuPekena.
